The co-host of a wildly popular YouTube show has broken her silence amid claims she had an 'inappropriate' relationship with a child.
Ava Kris Tyson, 28, who appeared on the popular YouTube channel MrBeast, is alleged to have formed a relationship with the minor when they were aged 13.
She announced she was stepping back from the MrBeast channel - which boasts 300million subscribers - and social media 'to focus on my family and mental health.'

Who is Ava Kris Tyson?
Ava Kris Tyson was born in July 1996 and grew up in North Carolina, where she still lives to this day.
As well as finding success on YouTube as part of the MrBeast channel, Ava has amassed over 9.5million followers on her TikTok account @chris_thememegod - which uses her birth name of Chris Tyson.
According to a MrBeast fan page, Ava had two previous YouTube channels before her current one, which were named under the monikers Chris and @Tysonboy34_.
The page also claims that MrBeast himself - whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson - said that Ava was the first-ever subscriber to the channel.

A childhood friend of Donaldson, Ava was one of four friends hired by the content creator to help run his YouTube channel, along withChandler Hallow, Garrett Ronalds and Jake Franklin.
Appearing in numerous MrBeast videos alongside Jimmy, she has participated in many challenges and prank videos made for the channel.
She had also become the main host of the channel Beast Reacts(formerly known as BeastHacks).
However, following after grooming allegations emerged, Ava said she would be stepping back from her role as a presenter and co-host on the channel.

In July 2023, during an interview with YouTuber Anthony Padilla, Ava revealed that she had beenshe had been 'confident' in her identity for 'over a year', before adding that she wanted to 'play catch-up with the internet' in the way she discovers herself.

She said at the time:'Six, seven, eight months ago my hair started growing out, all these kinds of things. I wasn't quite sure exactly who I was yet, but I knew I was not cisgender'
'I needed the freedom to express myself and figure out who I was'.
She continued by saying that she felt freer and more at ease following her decision to come out as trans.
Ava added:'I literally had people within the first couple of months of me coming out to friends and my therapist… they were like you're talking so much more, and you just seem so much more present in the conversation.'
'I was noticing that myself too,' Tyson continued. 'I would get done with conversations and be like 'why does my jaw hurt so bad?' Oh, I was talking and smiling – I haven't done that in a while.'
What is Ava Kris Tyson accused of?
Tyson is alleged to have sent inappropriate messages to a minor whom she first met when the person was 13 and she was 20.
The pair were allegedly introduced after the child won an online competition. At that time, Tyson was known to YouTube fans as 'Chris' because she had not yet transitioned her gender identity.
Tyson - who has a son with their ex-wife - is said to have spent years communicating with the fan on public online forums before meeting in person when the teen turned 16 years old.
The fan, who is now an adult, says they are not a victim and has defended Tyson but has admitted some of the messages were 'inappropriate' and 'edgy'.
Tyson responded to the allegations by issuing an apology on X, formerly Twitter, yesterday
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Tyson wrote: 'I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent.'
'Seeing recent events we've mutually decided it's best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health.'
The fan, who is now an adult, says they are not a victim and has defended Tyson but has admitted some of the messages were 'inappropriate' and 'edgy'.
Since the relationship was revealed in a series of expose-style videos and clips, several controversial posts by Tyson have resurfaced.
Multiple posts show Tyson interacting with 'Shadman', an artist known for drawing young characters in sexual poses.
In one post, Tyson begged Shadman to 'draw a 10-year-old anime girl'. Other posts show Tyson sexualizing cartoon children.
