Way to lead CA! In contrast unfortunately, a current transportation study in Oregon is forecasting only 3 H2 refueling stations (1 LDV, 1 MDV and 1 HDV) in the state by...2030. Gotta...move...faster! https://lnkd.in/gvUV8X46#h2transportation #cleanfuel

Democracy is not inevitable, it is not permanent, it is fragile…and not just in Europe. Americans can learn from those Europeans who saw their democracy and their freedoms taken away from them and lost loved ones in the process. It’s exactly what’s happening in Ukraine right now. Don’t think it can’t happen here in the US - it will if we take our democracy and freedoms for granted and don’t wake up to the political reality this November before it’s too late.

I'm probably a little late to this news, but while scanning the DOE Hydrogen AMR conference agenda, I saw this: "DOE Energy Earthshot Research Center: Plasma-Enhanced Hydrogen Production Yiguang Ju, Princeton University". I thought it amusing and somewhat ironic that the same institution that gave us the 3 Pillars for clean electrolytic hydrogen production has also taken over $5 million of DOE/taxpayer dollars to research methane plasma pyrolysis. Now I know that large universities often have competing initiatives and a diversity of academic research pursuits is a good thing - but as the Treasury draft 45V PTC rules stand now, "blue hydrogen" (of which methane pyrolysis is one production method) will be the only way to secure generous tax credits and thereby produce a significant, affordable supply of "clean" hydrogen (despite upstream methane emissions and leakage) while electrolytic hydrogen from renewable energy will be nearly impossible to produce so it's eligible for the PTC, making it unaffordable and scarce. A truly perverse outcome. #cleanhydrogen #H2PTChttps://lnkd.in/g7urcGAi

Always good to see reality and pragmatism about the challenge of transitioning our energy supply from the media amid the din of unrealistic fantasies of how far renewable electrons can actually get us…

So excited and grateful to Erin for stepping up to continue this important work, she will be a great asset to RHA! Re “shoes to fill” - for all of us in the hydrogen sector, our superpower is dancing backwards and in heels! 😊

So grateful to have gotten a chance to see this firsthand and drive their FCEV last October! Please bring these fueling stations to the Pacific NW!

On a fabulous road trip ax Oregon from Baker City to Coos Bay and points in between, RHA’s been talking to rural communities about renewable hydrogen and having an amazing time! Stunning landscapes to friendly, clean energy curious folks to learning how fuel cells are made to grilled oysters! 660 miles and counting!!#RHA #communityengagement #cleanfuel #andNOTor
