We appreciate your interest in enrollment. Young men come to St. John’s Jesuit from a variety of schools and from very different backgrounds. This diversity of economic, ethnic, and religious backgrounds sets  the stage for more than an education.  It allows for an experience; one that allows a student to achieve  his  best in the classroom, to develop the kind of friendships that last a lifetime, and to develop more fully into the person God intends – a Man for Others.

Ignatian | 96-99 Percentile | $4,000 per year
Claver | 93-95 Percentile| $3,000 per year
Faber | 90-92 Percentile | $2,000 per year
Hopkins | 86-89 Percentile | $1,000 per year
Miki | 80-85 Percentile | $750 per year
Xavier | 75-79 Percentile | $500 per year

  • Merit scholarships will be automatically applied.
Other Scholarship Opportunities

Ron Miller Alumni Scholarship
Sons of a SJJ graduate are eligible to receive a $3,000 per year/per sonfor students entering grades 6-9.

Military and First Responder Scholarship
Sons of parents who serve in the military or as firstresponders including paramedics, emergency medicaltechnicians, police officers and firefightersare eligible to receive $2,000 per year/per student.

Elizabeth AnnSeton Scholarship
Named for the patron saint of Catholic schools, the Elizabeth Ann Seton Scholarship is a $1,000 renewable scholarship awarded to NEW students attending grades 6 through 12 who have demonstrated a desire to grow stronger in Catholic faith through education and active involvement in at least one ministry of his Catholic parish.

Catholic Employee Scholarship
Sons of an employee at a Catholic institution at any levelare eligible to receive $2,000 per year/per student.

Educator Scholarship
Sons of public or private school educators are eligible toreceive $2,000 per year/per student.

Brother’s Award
$450 for each additional brother enrolled concurrently at St. John’s

work study program

The Work StudyProgram is a $1,000 tuition credit for students who qualify.

Grant and Aid Opportunities

Every family that wishes to apply for financial aid must complete a FACTS Grant and Aid application. Once applications are reviewed by FACTS, an internal committee atSJJdetermines the actual grant to be awarded for the school year.Final awards are based on family need.

Common Financial Aid Scenarios

Scenario A

A family with an average income of $110,000 with an average of 2 children typically receive an award of $10,000.

Scenario B

A family with an average income of $150,000 with an average of 3 children typically receive an award of $9,700.

Every family’s situation is carefully considered including factors such as multiple tuitions, eldercare, daycare, and more.

EdChoice Scholarship
The Educational Choice Scholarship (EdChoice) Program provides students from designated public schools the opportunity to attend participating private schools. The program also provides low-income students who are entering kindergarten through 12th grade scholarship opportunities.

Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund
We provide scholarships to needy families throughout northwest Ohio. Students who receive this tuition assistance attend the area privateK-8schools of their choice—there are even homeschooling scholarships available.

Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship
The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student’s Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and will not exceed $27,000. Students must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire program year to receive the full scholarship amount.

We strive to be transparent in every aspect of the Admissions process knowing that the cost of tuition can make or break a family’s decision to apply. At St. John’s Jesuit, we pledge to put tuition and fees within reach no matter the family dynamic, financial hardship, or background. If a student and his family want to attend St. John’s and he is accepted through the admissions process, there are a variety of pathways to make this dream a reality. Our door is always open to those who desire to be a part of the Titan tradition.

Tuition & Fees for the 2023-2024 School Year (includes a $250 registration fee and $1,500 composite fee): $16,250
More than 75% of Titan families receive some level of tuition assistance.

The 20/20 Jesuit Scholars Program provides Catholic education accessibility to students who are under-resourced, academically talented, many timesfrom single-parent homes, andwho would not be able to attend St. John’s Jesuit because of financial needs or other difficulties. Candidatesare recommended to the programin a variety of ways — by a parent or grandparent, but most effectivelyby aninterested elementary school teacher or a church pastor who knows a young man has the potential to achieve more, to do more, to be more.

HOST FAMILIES
SJJ takes pride in the kindness and generosity of its host families. Every year, around 15 new and returning international students arrive in the fall to meet or reunite with their host families. Hosts are crucial in the development and success of our international students as they progress through their academic careers.

STUDENT SUPPORT
All international students are supported in their academics, activities, social interactions, and future goals. St. John’s Jesuit offers hands-on assistance through the World As One office, ESL lessons, Counseling, A+ Learning Center, Student Life, and the College Resource Center.
